I was at my friends house and while in his room i noticed his HAF had a a butt load of dust gathering around where the big fans were and it looks like uncool and I was thinking about buying the Haf chasis for my next build other then the cosmos 1000 but when i saw all the dust on it... it was a huge turn off ._. comments?

B: Doesnt matter if the fans dont come with filters. If you can take care of your PC dusting needs to be done.
D: The more fans you have without filters the more dust your PC will collect.
E: If your PC has alot of space inside side, gives the dust more places to sit.
F: The only place dust should collect is where fans cannot get to... on the fans themselves.
Do I own a HAF Yes.
A great way to clean your PC for the first time is to leave a vacuum at the exhaust(Without it touching the PC if the nozzle is metal) and dust towards the back. If you dust for the first time without the vacuum the PC will just pick it right back up over time.

hmm that might be why but that made me do a 180 from getting the haf just couldnt stand dust because cleaning it would be such a pain in the behind but the haf does look pretty nice in person but still too much going on on the case anyways not much of a slick design i just heard great reviews and such so yeah anyways
i dont really know maybe its just his room but theyre house is pretty clean xD theyre asians soo yeah its clean in my standards and thats pretty low considering how much soda i have on my desk his room isnt THAT dusty maybe just that corner or so ._.

thats false i did an experiment and i found out that my computer gets dustier in a carpted area
i do not care about dust in my case my mother vacuums almost daily and i clean my pc monthly
My house is partial wood/partial carpet. Presuming that you've varnished your wood, your carpet will pick up more dust no problem, my wood is always spotless (Could be that parents wipe with mop every day, but still :P), the carpet builds up static which attracts dust as well.

hmm my house is alll wood except for the hall way being carpet and the rooms

Protip: Get some pantyhose from Walmart, and some 'Amazing Goop' adhesive while you're there. Rip the pantyhose to the appropriate size, and stretch it over the fan. Glue. Enjoy.
And have the pc on your desk.
Also: More movement in the room = more dust

i have to empty my antec 300's dust filter every few days because it's always full of dust. this is a [b]BIG REASON[/b] why i [b]DIDN'T[/b] get the 900.

I own a HAF and yeah mine gets dusty, but mine has never gotten that dusty.. he must not even attempt to clean it at all? i leave my pc running usually all day and for 2 months with out cleaning it my pc hasn't looked that bad... He should try to actually clean it instead of letting it sit there for months with out cleaning.
