Why does my GPU after update just show black screen

I have a PowerColor PCS+ Radeon R9 380 card and it was working last night before i feel asleep and when i got back from school my I turned my pc on and all i get is a black screen what do i do i can use the pc with out the GPU any recommendation?

if it's not posting it has nothing to do with the driver. make sure it's actually set in the bios still to use a pci-e gpu and not defaulting to the onboard.

that should be under the boot menu correct?

no it should be in your bios under initial display device. might also not hurt to make sure the power plug on it is connected/working or that the machine can boot with another gpu of any type installed.

It boots with other gpus and goes through the boot and i can log in its just this R9 390 is my main one because it is the more powerful card that i have

it was working last night today i turned it on and it just didnt display anything

well i'd say the last thing to try is putting the card in another machine. the card itself should be eliminated as the variable seeing as the machine isn't one.

Try to entrer in the BIOS. If the screen lights up and you can see everything just boot into safe mode, uninstall the drivers, boot back into the OS and install an older driver.
