Yeah from 20 years to 15...
I generally upgrade every 2-4 years,.. all of my Overclocked CPU's have lasted longer than that.
Rule of thumb, Ill replace it no doubt before I kill it, if I kill it, so be it, I'll replace it.
it's really give and take. if the voltage goes up you need less current and if the voltage goes down then you need more current so in order to do the amount of work needed you have to find the happy place for the cpu. and every cpu has a range that it will work within just fine with out causing damage. if the manufactures didn't factor in any overhead then they would be killed with RMA's
