Why aren't we on the crystal technology?

Well I've noticed that we're kind of stuck on copper and silicon for quite some time and that we've barely even tried anything crystal like.  The cost isn't that steep and we have the factories that can convert into it.  Tons of universities have done studies on crystal technology for storing information and transferring data.  It does a great job and so i'm quite surprised why we haven't really seen an attempt of any jump to crystal yet.  Now we're going to a point that silicon is getting too hot since we're making it small, soon we'll be going 12nm and 18nm so why not make the jump within the decade?

I don't know enough about it to really comment, so I'm just gonna go ahead and blame it on new age hippies and Sedona AZ that are giving crystals a bad name.

"I need to charge my crystals so i'm going to put them in a river for a day"...I'm sorry but if you're into that kind of crap, you're just really dumb or permafried from drugs.

One of my buddies had one of his hippie friends over to watch a movie. My friend got up to get a drink from the kitchen but when he got back his friend had his crystals on his computer and turned it off because "It was giving off some really bad energy."

i don't think your energy is jiving with what this man is saying brother

Because the G'auld haven't invaded yet :D ?

lol, u guys are funny. Good stuff!

I agree... just imagine what we could accomplish with crystals....
