Why aren't there any great Browsers?

I’ve been using Brave as a daily driver for about 4 months now, and its alright.

I actually prefer FireFox TBH. The Developer Edition.

The biggest grievance I have had with Brave, was that until I figured out how to turn off the spam, it would constantly ask, " dO yOu WaNnA sEt Up A cRyPtO wAlLeT?".

Shut the hell up no I fucking don’t.

Aside from that its been pretty smooth.

If the firefox platform works for you I’d suggest waterfox. Been using it for about a year now. Basicly stripped down firefox and the next version is supposed to have support for chrome extentions.

Yeah, it definitely requires a pass at the settings after install but since it syncs now, you just need to do it once.

I’ve been using the news thing in place of Google on my phone. Like it much better.

If anyone wants to check it out there is also PaleMoon (https://www.palemoon.org/) and Basilisk (https://www.basilisk-browser.org/) Both are basically Firefox old base (XUL) but are actively developed (now called UXP(Unified XUL Platform)) by a team. It’s open source.
I’ve been using Basilisk mainly because I use a lot of extensions and some are not available on other browsers. There are some caveats here and there but it works for everything I do.
