Hello Logan and Wendell!
I know you've mentioned Tesla and SpaceX in the past, but I am curious what you know about Elon Musk. To me, Elon has separated himself from the rest of the world's millionaires by doing what is right for society, and what is awesome. He makes Warren Buffet and Steve Jobs look like turds. He is the CEO and CTO (Chief Technology Officer - he know's his rockets) of SpaceX, CEO and CPD (Chief Product Designer - he knows car function and asthetics), and Chairman of SolarCity (the main installer of solar panels in the USA).
SpaceX has done more for rocket technology and the space industy than 4 governments (USA, Japan, Russia, ESA) have in the last 40 years. Check this out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGimzB5QM1M. They're efecticely turning rockets into spaceships, and plan to send people to Mar's by 2025. Amazing.
Meanwhile, Elon is CEO at Tesla, which is rapidly advancing electric car technology to the point that consumer gas-powered vehicles seem pointless. They're currently rolling out the Model X and plan to release a more affordable EV in the next few years. With range improvements and a nationwide SuperCharger network also coming in the next few years, it's easy to see a bright future for the company. Watch the most recent 2013 shareholders meeting to get an idea of what's to coming, Elon does some great Q&A (watch the whole thing): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n3AcKTmaoE8.
What's coolest to me is that Elon has his motives in the right place. Unlike Steve Jobs, he's pursuing things that will change life for people around the world, and not seeking to maximize his ROI. Sure, he must keep things profitable for the expansion of the companies, but he doesn't screw the consumer, simply because it clearly isn't his goal. Additionally, he welcomes competition from China and other countries. He clearly knows his shit and has the balls to back it up.
By effectively breaking a product down into it's raw materials and designing a more efficent way towards assembly, Elon has already done an insane amount to advance multiple industries. How are we not more excited for the advances? Can you please talk about these things more to spread the word? Do you think other industries could be reorganized by a breakthrough company? Automobiles? 3D printers/CNC machines? What would like to see Elon (or others with enough capital to make an impact) pursure next? (hyperloop, electric airplanes, education (I totally agree with him on this - our current education system largely sucks, something else?)
Thanks guys!

PS: If you haven't checked them out yet, Elon has does many interesting interviews, which are of course on youtube.
