Who has the worst (MAIN RIG) PC?

Before i start, i would like to say that this is my first post on teksyndicate. (well, i did post in the "what metal song are you listening to..." thread) So help to everyone.

So i would like to accept the award of worst pc. I would be glad to hand over the award to anyone who has a worse pc than me. Now im not meaning an old secondary pc, i mean the worst MAIN RIG in your house. As in, the best pc in your house, your go to machine.

I have a Dell from like 2005ish? 

Specs--------

PROCESSOR: Intel Pentium 4 (2.8Ghz)

RAM: 512MB DDR2

HDD: 80gig (IDE)

GRAPHICS: Intel(R) 82865G

OS: Windows XP Home

 

Oh..... and as a kicker, my monitor is a CRT from, possibly, last century.

 

So, if your main home pc is worse than mine, let me know! (Think it's time for an upgrade?)

We should send Op some better parts... I'm sure, between us, we could build him a modern system. An AMD APU system, something, anything!

If it was Vista.... i would be having more trouble than just a bad OS. I assume it uses more resources than XP, and with the amount of ram i have atm, running Firefox is even a chore. Im not even sure i would be able to play a YouTube video lol

Compaq Presario laptop from fuckin' Wal-Mart.

1GHz dual core APU

2 gigs of DDR3 memory at 600 MHz

 

Those were sad days for me...

I will see if I can find a good AM3+ or an FM2 motherboard and CPU/APU to send you, with 4GB or DDR3 memory.

Im not sure if you have heard of the free pc game released not to long ago called Street Fighter x Megaman (it is an 8 bit style game, looks like classic megaman). i tried to play that, and it froze lol. But I'm not complaining, it still works to surf the web!

Intel celeron 2.8 Ghz, 1GB dual chanell DDR1 RAM, 256 MB AGP ATI radeon 9600. HDD 80 GB. It is pretty shitty, running League of Legends on 1080p @ 16-20 fps.

Well Mr. Weston you are able to match my brother’s Pentium 4 but where did you get that massive 80 Gig HDD? My brother has a 40 Gig IDE HDD but he did put a graphics card in which of course helps that CPU immensely. He has it over clocked to the max so we can play WOW together. I sent him a laptop for Christmas so we can now Skype on the laptops and play WOW on his “big” computer. Can you throw a little more RAM in your system? I’m sure 512 sticks of DDR2 are floating around for a song.

Honestly, the laptop itself was probably the worst experience I've ever had in my life.  The world's best DDR3 couldn't make me NOT want to burn that thing.  I was better off using a cell phone.

BUT, to answer your question, About say...five months ago?  Six maybe?  A friend (CosmosusMagnus) built a PC out of SPARE PARTS and it was still better than that thing.  lol

Money is uber tight atm, but even if i could, I'm not sure doubling the ram on a dying pc is the right move.

If you had the experience I had, you would be praying to whatever deity you believe in that the laptop does not meet an untimely fate with thermite.  lol

Just seeing the term '1080p' has me jelly lol i recently advised a friend on a new monitor/graphics card. I installed it for him because he didn't know how, which is fine, but is it sad the first video card and 1080p monitor i installed/touched were not even mine? Lol
