Who has played Zoo Tycoon or Zoo Tycoon 2?

I've played Zoo Tycoon 2 back in like 2005, then I got really interested in like 2007. Then I got to play the first game, Zoo Tycoon, and didn't like it as much as I did with ZT2, but both were fun regardless.

I currently don't play it since I lost the discs, and the game files probably got corrupted. I haven't played it in like 4 or 5 years now, and I really miss it. I'm glad the ultimate collection is like $10 now. :)

Who has played either or both games? Do (or did) you like it? What was fun about it?

I also downloaded 3rd party content into the game where it allowed me to have more options for plants, trees, fences, animals, paths, buildings, etc. If those of you who've played it also downloaded those things into the game, what was your favorite?

I enjoyed rollercoaster tycoon more tbh. Zoo Tycoon just didn't...hold my attention as much as constructing rollercoasters.

I've played rollercoaster tycoon 3 a while ago, maybe like 5 years ago (?). It was fun.

Whats funny is that that one is the worst one I have played. Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 is the best one in the series, with the original coming in second. I don't think there is a 4th one...but I dunno, I stopped playing them about 6 years ago.
