I've got a question for the lot off you. What is the oldest gpu you still have. To clarify, not the oldest you have used in the past, the oldest you still curently still own. To start, my first and oldest card is the ATI Radeon 2600 by Sapphire. The cake goes to whoever has the oldest. Game on.
GT210, 8800GT, and I think a Voodoo II.
Kudos to the Voodoo - I loved those with Quake 2 in OpenGL mode!!
nvidia geforce fx. (geforce 5 series)
prolly like a 5200 or sumfin... no heatsink even....
an Intel Pentium from 1992
GPU
Radeon hd x1950 pro
I have a ATI Radeon 9800 Pro somewhere. Doesn't work anymore but I couldn't bring myself to bin it.
Edit: Just remembered, I also have a Matrox Millenium in a old PC in my parents attic. I shudder to think how much I paid for that thing...
I usually sell all of my old cards, so the oldest would be the one I'm using right now. MSI GTX 580 Lightning Xtreme Edition.
What OCs are you getting with it?
I have two and they're both overclocked to 940 mhz on the core and 2200 mhz on the memory. That's at 1.15V. I could overclock higher, but I'd have to flash the bios to allow me to go up to 1.2V.
got some Voodoo 1's, 2's and 3's in a box, sure one may be an Orchid gard with 2 GPU's on one of them
I'm so young to the PC Gaming world.... sapphire 6850 that likes to shut off by itself. Now I have a PNY 580 reference. Same year, but a little more powerful, and I payed the same price
I think I have the oldest so far
Not if I count the CPU in my NES.
Cirrus logic vesa adapter. With 2 mb upgrade kit in dip form. I might maybe have an is a VGA card. Somewhere.
Actually still in use? Matrix millennium ii 8 mb.
Lol, I swear Wendell has a warehouse just full of old parts somewhere.
I remember when I was probably around 11 or 12, my parents tried to get me a graphics card for our computer for Christmas, but it wouldn't fit in our Gateway's case at the time. It was a GeForce 4, and I was so happy to unwrap it on Christmas morning only to have to end up returning it because it wouldn't fit.
The first real graphics card I ever had was an old ATI card that came with the Dell computer we got when I was in high school. I don't remember what the model was, but I think it was something like an X1600. I really don't remember though.
I had a 9600GT in my first build that I put together when I went to college. I later upgraded nearly everything in this build, and I ended up switching out the 9600GT for two Radeon HD 6850s.
I put together another build relatively recently...I guess it must have been in October of 2011, and that's why I'm using the two MSI GTX 580 Lightning Xtreme Editions.
