So I want to make a website. I want a place to put my youtube gaming videos and perhaps a place I could show future employers of my work. My problem is that, there are so many hosting websites to choose from. I do not want to use a free service, but I would like a reliable service that would give me my own domain name, etc. I was leaning to using Host Gators "Baby" service plan for about $7 a month. Could anyone give me any opinions or any experience with web hosting sites for thier sites? I would really appreciate any recommendations.
Namecheap has been doing everything right lately. Accepts bitcoin, denounced sopa/pipa, funding the EFF. Their hosting is cheap too and I haven't had any problems with them at all so far.
