Which router should I get?

I want the best of the best, for multiple devices gaming, hd streaming, download large files, etc. I want the fastest possible speeds for wireless and LAN. Also need recommendations for desktop network adapter?

I am currently considering:

or should i make a router out of a old pc? i think it has a Pentium 4 2.35ghz i have to look. but willing to spend the money upgrade/ add parts to make it better than buying a router for $120+.
