Which model of the EVGA GTX 980 is the best?

I'm building my first computer and had some extra money so I decided to look into buying the EVGA 980, however, I realized that there are different models for the card. There is the Superclocked ACX 2.0, the Reference, the SC Blower, etc... Which gpu is the best, or which would you recommend?

on a sidenote, someone needs to yell at EVGA for not including a backplate on their GPUs. it's a Enthusiast Sin now.

Yeah I was almost considering recommending the Gigabyte G1 Gaming just because the cooler is either as good as the classy, or slightly better. And the back plate on the G1 Gaming 980 is sexy and functional.
