Which MoBo

Hi Everyone

 

Need to buy new MoBo quick have two choices which is the best ??

1. MSI Z77A-G45 Gaming

2. Gigabyte Z77x-D3H

I would say on paper the MSI is better unless you need more than 2 SATA3 ports. More RAM speed options, more PCIE3 slots. The gigabyte has 4 SATA3 ports though. If you don't have super fast ram and only have a single GPU I'd say they'd be incredibly similar. The MSI says it has a Killer NIC and "military grade" parts though. So thats something I guess.

well its a bit depending about which revision of the the Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H you talk about? there is a big diffrence in the Rev 1.0 and 1.1 of this board. on the revision 1.1 board they put a 8 pin cpu power connector and 8 powerphases, "if im right" on the rev 1.0 there is only a 4 pin power connector, only 6 powerphases.

anyway both boards are not realy great for overclocking in the first place. so if you look for an OC board, leave them alone. ☺
