Which Mobo to choose (AMD)

Hello, I am looking to build a new pc. I'm going for budget gaming build. I was interested by the fx 6300 as it seems it is the best you can get for that price and I was wondering what motherboard i should get for it.

First off, I would like to OC my cpu in the future, although only very mildly. (ie 4.2, 4.3ghz). I also heard that the next gen of AMD cpus will be compatible with AM3+, which means I would like to hold on to it for as long as possible. Finally, I don't think I'll be SLI/CF'ing.

I looked at the MSI 970A-G43 as it is at a very nice price, and offers everything I need, although many say it has limited OCing capabilities, but in my case, that may not be all bad. I heard very good things about the 990s but I need your advice.

Thanks!

PS. I am canadian, and I prefer Newegg.ca, unless, ofc, there is a much better price elsewhere. I would like to stay below 100$ for the purchase, unless you manage to convince me that going over is an absolute necessity.

Cheap, nice, overclocking AMD mobo, there you go:

My friend just got one of these for his FX 8320, http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131873

It's a very decent overclocker, with Crossfire/SLI support for only 96 CAD.

Asus M5A97 evo R2.0 comes with a 6+2 digital power phase, try to find one of those. good for oc.

by the Way the Asus M5A97 R2.0 isnt that good for OC it has only a 4+2 power phase. and its not a good board for crosfire, cause it has 2 pci-e slot one x16 and one x4. so thats crap for crosfire. (sli is not supported)

the best 970 board to oc on are the Asus M5A97 evo R2.0 or the Gigabyte GA-970A-ud3 with 8+2 power phase. notice that wenn you gonne look at the Gigabyte you need to make sure, you buy a  R3.0 of it.

But  the best way to go is a 990 FX chipset. if you plan to crosfire or sli in the future. 970 chipsetboards suck on that pointand oc will be a bit better on 990 fx boards.

Asus M5A99FX pro R2.0 6+2 digital power phase.

Asus Sabbertooth R2.0   8+2 digital power phase.

Gigabyte GA-990FX-ud3 8+2 power phase.

Asrock 990FX Extreme 9 12+2 power phase.

i personaly prefer an asus board. if you can find a  M5A97 evo R2.0 then take it, if you not plan to crosfire. but only want to oc, if you plan crosfire, then go 990FX boards.

asus sabertooth gen 3 r2.0 over the older sabertooth. pcie 3.0

All he needs to overclock is an 8+2 power phase. Cheapest board with that option is the GA-970A-UD3.

6+2 power phase clocks very well to, logan did an easy oc with the FX8350  to 5 GHZ with it ☺

Asus M5A99FX pro R2.0 has the same power phase  as the Asus M5A97 evo R2.0. and it supports vishera out of the box, thats why i  advice that board. the Gigabyte can be a hit or a miss with Vishera, and the Gigabyte has overheating northbridge chip issues. well known problem.

I've had no issues running my FX-6300 out to 4.4 on my M5A97 EVO R2.0. Temps stopped me before anything else did (my cooler is crap).
