Hello. I'm currently using 2 1080p monitors. A TN and an IPS. These are both run with a gtx 780. I'm thinking about getting a 1440p monitor to pair with the IPS 1080p monitor. So, still just 2 monitors. I like the real estate and productivity of 2 monitors. Plus I'm interested in 1440p gaming. But I don't want to skimp on the panel quality either. I like color accuracy. I'm not sure if VA or IPS are better. Anyways, I found these two on eBay that are pretty cheap and seem good. Does anyone have any experience with these?
I'm trying to keep this under $300. Any and all advice is welcome! Thanks.
I purchased the qnix recently and have had not issues with it. 1440p is a great jump from 1080p and the color looks great though I wouldn't consider myself as someone who could spot whether it wasn't accurate or not as it is my first monitor i spent good money on. The stand is not great at all but gets the job done. Also you can overlock the monitor but i haven't gotten around to it. I would recommend the qnix
So is that considered "de-glassed". Wendell mentioned he did something similar in his 39" 4k tv video. What are the benefits/drawbacks from it having no glass? I'd imagine 0% glare, but I don't know. That's pretty cheap, though. It's makes excited, but cautious about it. Mind if I ask which Amazon seller you bought from?
Yes. I was looking more into it. He seems to favor/think his x-star is the better monitor. But it's just so hard to argue with $190 for an IPS 1440p monitor. haha.
Having a tough time deciding which Korean one to pick myself. Logan seems to like the X-Star monitor, but everyone on Overclockers.net is saying to pick up the Crossover 2795HD, which I haven't seen the tek mention anything about. Not sure which looks better also regarding the Samsung vs LG panel although I'm guessing both look fantasic.
