Which Keyboard to buy?

What do you recommend?

My current Keyboard is Logitech G15 Y-UW92

I am PC gamer(I have secret, I do not use WASD, I use arrow keys(sorry if I upset anyone this is how I begun gaming on PC and can't change my habits))

I tried the non gaming mechanical keyboard, and there were two things I didn't like about it 1st it was extremely noise, and second the keys were way higher than my G15.

Well from what you said about noise I would recommend Cherry MX reds as it is nice and quiet although if you wish to have less travel distance the razer products are good for that. I personally use a corsair k70 so I can highly recommend a red switch version of that although the key height is rather high, depends if you want macro keys or not.

Hope this helps!

I just recently went from a Logitech G19 to a Corsair K70 (Blue Switch) I love the K70 but it all depends on what you want, if you want a switch that requires more force and you don't mind noise level blue switches are nice, if you want some more force in a quieter package then I would say browns and if you want a quiet keyboard with not a lot of force required I would go with red switches. Also the K70 comes with extra key caps that are textured that you can use on the WASD or arrow keys ;)

Well, I just recently went from a gen 1 G15 (Y-UG75) to a K70 with Browns, and it's great (though I do miss my LCD, but I have a plan to replace that...)  Like the others have said, if you want a quiet typing experience (assuming you don't bottom your keys out when you type) the Reds (or Blacks if you want a stiffer switch) are the way to go.  However, Browns (and their stiffer brother the Clears) aren't much louder and do have a nice tactile bump while lacking the high pitched clicky sound of the Blues (and the stiffer Greens).

If you want a shorter travel distance, then you can pick up some o-rings.  It will also help lessen the noise caused by bottoming out the keys, so they are good for silent typing as well.  WASD makes them in both .2mm and.4mm sizes, so you can choose how short you want your key travel to be.

As far as what keyboard to choose, I love my K70, so I gotta recommend it...  but your best bet would be to decide what features you want, then narrow it down by astetics.  So long as you stick to the established mechanical keyboard manufacturers, quality shouldn't be an issue.

I will try K40 and see how it will go

K40 isn't mechanical.  It's rubber dome.  Just FYI.

Anyway what is the advantages and disadvantage between mechanical and rubber dome?
