I'm looking at getting one of two cards. Both are Radeon 7950's. The both come with 3 free games. But the cooling systems are quite different. On is an HIS IceQ boost clock 7950 while the other is a gigabyte 7950 that has windforce and 3 fans. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with either of these cards and which one runs better. Gigabyte: $199.99 after MIR. HIS:$214.99 flat.
It depends on your case if you have good air flow the windforce will be better but if your case does not have good airflow the HIS will be better because of the blower cooler.
My case is a Cooler master HAF 912. Says it has good airflow and I have 2 120mm fans in it that came with it.
I would say go with the gigabyte one then and maybe pick up like 2 more 120mm fans and have 2 intakes and 2 exhaust. For 199 you cant go wrong with a 7950
