Which Hard Drive Should I Buy?

I've been looking around for a 1TB external hard drive to buy for my laptop, and have found these two that look promising:

WDBBEP0010BBK has 1 year longer warranty. These externals are sensitive do not drop it especially while its running. WD is a great product.

I think you got it the wrong way around, WDBBEP0010BBK has a 1yr shorter warranty.

ultra has 3 year 

other has 2 year

I stand behind WD in their warranty and products. No complaints about them yet.

This is a desktop external, not portable. it will work but will require external power source.

I am aware of that. I doesn't need it to be portable. it can be any external Hard Drive.

I have that Seagate and it has been great super quiet and good transfer speeds, Not like the WD it replaced that was loud.
