I know it's small but it is the only thing that will fit comfortably in my case, the other options might be a tight squeeze and that concerns me, also are there any other GPUs that are more bang for your buck, I am not going over 330 dollars
There are so, so, so many GPUs that will be better for the money. Namely, the MSI 7950 for $179.99 after MIR, right now. It isn't Twin Frozr, but it is still amazing in terms of performance, with nothing coming close at that price. I believe it is ref, too, so you can drop it under water if you want to. It's on Newegg, run, get it!
I'd get that card if i didn't already buy a non mini itx motherboard, and on a side note ive seen 7970 ghz editions go for $300 but you have to really look.
If you want better performance than a 7950, you'll need more than a 670. With the 760 beating the 670, and the 7950 beating the 760 in most games, especially at 1440p, which the 760 already beats the 670 at (most likely due to memory bandwidth.) Stop basing your assumptions of performance off of price.
You really can't use 16month old benchmarks as a guide for how they compare now due to driver updates.
Your going to find a lot more people recommend a 7970 over a 670, and its not because they are AMD fanboys, its simply the fact that right now the 7970 with updated drivers beats the 670 across the board, and that is only amplified as you start overclocking the two cards.
I have more Nvidia cards then AMDs, but if I had $300 to spend on a gaming rig, Id go 7970 all day long!
Easy here guys. We first need to know what case OP gots before we can recommend anything. And 670 is faster then a 760 OC to OC, 670 has two SMX clusters more than 760! We also need to take power consumption in consideration. 7970 is a power hungry beast and can easily draw 50-75watt more than a 670. Check up on your PSU. I agree, performance per dollar 7970 and 7950 win if you find a good deal. But same goes for 670. I can get a brand new 670 for 220 euro, which is a pretty good deal. 670 on average is faster than a 7950. 1440p benchmarks might not matter if OP plays 1080p.
