I would say get the 660ti perhaps, that's what I have and I'm very happy with it, no tearing etc so far... had it for like a month now.
7870 vs 660ti...ehm well the 660ti is a bit more expensive I think, but on the other hand, you have physx support and some better latencies (in the keplar generation that is) see what's more important to you, saving a few bucks or getting a bit more out of your card.
oh and if you're gonna use this build for gaming, you don't really need an i7. you can get an i5 3570k, save a hundred bucks and buy a faster gpu.
ya drop the i7 and get a i5 3570k and a hyper 212 cpu cooler I have that motherboard and it takes like 2min to overclock to 4.3ghz on auto voltage. Also I would recomend a samsung 830 or 840 over the kingston and the 660ti power edition from msi sounds like a great card or consider a 7950
