I'm new to building a computer and am planing on building one. I basically just want it to run games like BF3, Tomb Raider, GTA, and other games like that at good fps. Right now i'm looking at this build i planned out - http://pcpartpicker.com/p/IRN6 - I haven't decided on a good GPU and don't know which one to choose or how much money i should spend on one. I'd prefer to run at max settings or close to max at 1080p. If someone could give me some unbiased help it would be greatly appreciated.
You could probably get away with using a Radeon HD 7870 to max out those games, but I would recommend getting a 7870XT or 7950 just to make sure. If you have money for an HD 7970, GTX 680, or GTX Titan, then definitely go for it though.
Would it make a big fps difference to go with a card around $300 over one that like $220? I'd probably be able to squeeze a $300 GPU into my budget but i'm not sure if it would be a considerable difference.
Well here's a comparison. You be the judge: http://anandtech.com/bench/Product/548?vs=645
Ok thanks, i'm just really wondering what exact GPU would be the most bang for my buck and i think going with GPU around $300 would be a better option.
Does anyone know which would be better $/Performance for

2.) MSI R7870 HAWK GHz edition - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127681&nm_mc=OTC-pr1c3grabb3r&cm_mmc=OTC-pr1c3grabb3r-_-Video+Cards-_-MSI-_-14127681
3.) Sapphire Radeon 7870XT w/ boost - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202024&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-_-pla-_-Desktop+Graphics+Cards-_-N82E16814202024&gclid=CM22i5ST9bUCFY6PPAodIVsAag
or if anyone knows of a better GPU for that price range (around $250, i'd probably be overclocking)
The XT is the best, it has the tahiti GPU of a 79XX series just with the memory bandwith and such of a 78XX.
Will it run games like Crisis 3, Tomb Raider, BF3 etc. on max settings or close to max?
And are there any better cards for $250, or is that the top of the line at that price point?
Like would these be better options?
