Which GPU should I get?

So I have around 220$ and I have a couple choices that think would be good but need your guys help on choosing the right one. I don't care if it is used I just want the best performance possible for the money.(and what my cpu can handle which is the amd fx 6300)

Here is a short list of what I think would can be a good choice...

hd 7970

gtx 670

gtx 760

r9 280x

I would love some more recommendations on what I should buy and remember idc if it is used I just want the best performance for the money.

 

PS i'm upgrading from a gtx 470 XD

R9 280X/HD 7970 (since they are the same) will be the better buy, a 280X is more powerful than a 760/670 (760 is the same as a 670) and the 280X has more VRAM than a 760, but if you can't find a 280X for cheap enough an R9 280 (HD 7950) would also be a good option

An AMD FX 6300 can handle up to two 7970s (280X) GPUs.

You want the best performance for your money? Immediately throw every nVidia GPU out the window. At every price point where they compete the AMD card will win. Always cheaper and 9 times out of 10 faster.

The 7970 and 280X are the same thing. Both are faster than a 670 and a 770. The GTX 760 really isn't in the same league.

I'd go with this. Keep a lookout though as they can sometimes be found onsale for around $200.

I'd stay away from used GPUs especially AMD ones. Lots of use and hard use especially in cryptocoin mining.
