Which gpu configuration should I use?

I am planning on gaming at 120hz (1080p) and occasionally using Nvidia 3D vision. I will also be doing some 3d world editing/rendering. I may also use Adobe cs6 and some sony vegas on the side. More than likely will be screen recording aswell.

Configurations which I was thinking of.

(Prices are in Australian dollars and include shipping)

1. ASUS GeForce GTX 680 DirectCU II TOP Edition @ $650

2. 2x ASUS GeForce GTX 670 DirectCU II OC 2GB @ $950

3. ASUS GeForce GTX 670 DirectCU II OC 2GB @ $490

4. ASUS Radeon HD7970 Matrix Platinum 3GB @ $520

(You may suggest a card which you believe to be better for my situation)

one 680 will more than max out all of your games, the 2 670's will only provide a marginal bonus to the single 680 and may not work in some games that do not support sli. as for the Radeon, i have no idea sorry this applies only tp the Asus 680 and Asus 670 sli

well personally i would always recomend 1 gpu over 2 because i have had issues with cf and sli while helping friends

in your case i would go one because your sli option is way more expensive with not many benefits.

i would go 7970 because its the 2nd cheapest and it does perform like or better than a 680

but if you need cuda or nvidia 3d vision then either a 680 or 670 they will bothe max out games.

Seeing you want 3d the 7970 is out, the SLI 670 won't preform much faster than i single 680, so i would go with the
Single 680 Or if you can afford it go with a 690
