Which CPU for new PFSense box?

So im replacing my current desktop chassis pfsense box using a core2 duo for a rack mounted 1U w/ quad or low power dual

Previously I was running suricata only over one port, but when i loaded pia & OVPN for remote i started running into performace issues. I dont think it was cpu, due to my cpu not going over 50% BUT>>> gui would lock up.

So after a good amount of price searching these are the three boards w/ soldered cpu’s im looking at:

Let me know what yall think! Im pretty happy to finally getting around to upgrading my pfsense box after just buying a $10pc that barley works and running it with 2x ports

If I would redo my pfsense I would probably use some old x64 laptop around 50-100usd from craigslist.
my zbox cl321 is nice but there is some advantages in a laptop like built in peripherals and power backup.

But that dual eth gigabyte is also looking good.

OT: Do you use suricata for https too?

https traffic? I would think that is a default rule

I built this recently. Not sure if that helps but it would solve any performance issues for sure.

im stuck using itx boards for my system 6.7x6.7… i wish i would have seen this before

also not looking to spend over $100 on m/b and cpu. for my nas ill buy that considering it will be in a 2/4u case
