i personally really like the 690 II advance, but the scout looks to have convenience, with the handles and all.

The 690 can hold more fans, and 140mm fans which yield more air, while the scout 2 can only use 120mm fans. They both have adjustable drive bays but if you ever want to put a radiator up top you'll have more room with the scout 2 for push/pull while the 690 can only do push or pull.  Personally i like the scout 2 more than the 690.

I have personally used the scout 2 and I can say that its quite nice. Fitting a h60 in push/ pull was not an issue.
