You probably get this question a lot, but I'll ask anyway I guess. I'm fairly young and only really got into technology a couple of years back. I've been looking at hardware the most, but I really want to get into other topics such as networks or coding software and games.
Problem is, I don't know where to start. That's what I need help with. What do you guys think? I've been searching for a while and haven't found anything that really helped.
If you want to start with programming, try starting with java. I'm learning it in school and its pretty easy to learn.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I put it on this forum because if it was answered on Inbox I thought it would help other people as well.
I'd tell you to start with something simple as well but don't listen to me I didn't stick to it.
I tried my hand at QBASIC then a little c++. Qbasic is surprisingly easy for youngsters, and a lot of fun to learn.
