Where is the best place to get a VPS?

Hi

I need/want a VPS for a mumble server and to host a small programming I'm building. Im in the UK so I was wondering what the cheapest/best VPS I can get is that is fairly local.

Also I don't currently have a VPN could I some how rout traffic thru the VPS?

I use Digital Ocean. At $5 it's great for hosting and with their hourly rates it's nice for testing out my programs. If you follow them on twitter @digitalocean they're very interactive and willing to answer any questions.

Thanks, i was looking at Ram Node: http://www.ramnode.com/vps.php and it looks beater value for money compared to Digital Ocean is ther something im missing?

Compare the KVM (that's what digital ocean uses). I've never used RamNode so I can't speak on their behalf. The main reason I chose Digital Ocean was the support and how quick it deploys. It is purely simple.

Oh ok, will there be a difference in proformance, kvm vs openVZ?

OpenVZ has shared resources, where KVM is full virtualization.
