What's with these stupid inbox questions?

75% of these questions need to be in the hardware forum. This is nuts to make these people read "Logan prefect world" or "If Logan was a female (wtf)". Look don't mean to be a joy kill dick, but how you expect them to take over the world reading this?

Asked them what informative websites they like the most, or give them interesting  topics that can protenially be in the up coming youtube. Just a few examples/ideas.

Know I'm a noob to the fourms, but not common sence. This is a community of intelligent people in less your a console player then understandable.

This isn't xbox live this is the fucking Tek. Period. Now lets get those post/decent threads out there I believe in you!

This post has brought to you by Kratikos's woman. "Counterstrike? Come at me bro"

A lot of questions are just posted in hopes that the question will be in an inbox video.

"Hmm. How can I get Logan to acknowledge my existence today?"

As a hardware mod it drives me insane that i can't move most of these over for this reason

Hopefully logan/pistol/wendell will see this thread and give use hardware mods this ability

lol, there are so many noobs on this site. there are some high level thinkers here that keep me coming back, but for the most part it's dominated my pcpickapart list :p

on other forums when people talk about their builds, they are actually building a system where here people are just listing parts. it's pretty fucking lame.

I know, it's so aggravating! "BUILD ME A KAGILLION DOLLAR PC" and "8350 vs 3570k" dominate the Feed, even though, if you have a kagillion dollars to waste on a PC, you should take the time to learn what you are doing with your money, and that fact that there are plenty of videos on this forum about the 8350 and 3570k. They haven't changed, still the same chip.

Make great point. When someone has a agenda not related to the task at hand then inbox isn't the place to be posting.

We now know that the sticky isn't really working here. I'll try to have a close moderation in this section from now on. Usually there should be one form the start but without the enforcement many people are really posting worthless shit that they should've known by now. It isn't hard to do some reading, I know it's tiring but it's worth it and for your knowledge if so. We're getting these same subjects day after day day after day day after day.

So again, any threads that can be answered by us immediately move them out of here. And if the question asked is "extremely" stupid, just lock it for the sake of the poster asking for humiliation and a lesson tutorial.

If people that post in inbox paid attention to the show they would have better insight. Not computer relate then at least talk about real world issues, or cutting edge investions. That's just my 2 cents. We all know Logan, Wendell, and Pistol are kickass people no need to hang on there nuts like a Christmas ornament.

i've been moving like 10+ every day. They just keep coming though :(

I don't know why people are still not reading the rules.

Another mod to help would be good.

EDIT: also, lots of the questions that are hardware related but dont really belong anywhere else, so i just leave them here. Laptops for example. I guess they could technically go in 'Other Hardware' but normally thats for mice, keyboards and headsets etc.

+1 i see manny topics in here that belong in the Hardware section, i would realy like to help you, but unfortunaly im not an overlord mod, only  a Hardware section mod. Otherwise i would realy help you ☺

I'll be willing to help the enforcement. Won't be on here that often till I get internet

I was thinking that some where on the site there could be a general questions FAQ/list of questions and answers about hardware topics that get asked like 100+ times a day. We could have a mod who frequents the forum everyday to update this FAQ/List for what ever questions are being asked most that day. For example, one that I have been seeing lately:

"Which is better a 7970 or a 670/770?

The 7970 is better because.......... though you may want to go nVidia because........"

Just have a list of questions like that. That we could have a moderator, who comes on the forums everyday and sees these questions, could update this list/FAQ with the questions most asked. You could even have the questions organized under different sections like how we have the forums and have a top ten most asked this week list at the top. For the problem with people not checking the rules in the first place you can have this "top 10 list" placed under the "Save" button for when people are about to make a post that they can glance at and perhaps get their answers. For me there is just a huge blank section under the "Save" button there that we could fill and put to good use.

I will do everything I can do to help and would like to do more, but that's just my two cents about it though.

Which sites? I'd like to read up coming builds for ideas.

The biggest ones are OCN, [H]ard, EVGA, and OC3D.

It isn't hard to do some reading, I know it's tiring but it's worth it and for your knowledge if so.

I know what you mean, it feels like people still want to be bloody spoon feed info that they just will discard and forget anyway.

I second with Skull and would like to help enforce if necessary.

Agreed. There's no need to have this many hardware threads in a inbox in less you have a question that is relate to The Tek, or Wendell's coding. (SPEAKING OF CODING NEED TO MAKE A INBOX THREAD)

IMO think a 2011 i3 club or 7950 club sticky with install/OC videos would keep the same post from happing. Even I am a victim to posting irrelevant questions about my X58, because page 3 put purpose to action with my future upgrades.

Logan, anyone that is fan knows your in the process of moving clearly this isn't your fault. People need know the different, well really they just need to read the sticky.

The thing is no one looks through the forums for answers, more over they just go to the post tab at the top and type away their question. The needs to be something between that and the post page at least for new members to read.

maybe when they submit a post, have the forum check for similar forum topics that have already been posted and ask them if any of these relate to what they are asking then give the user the option of contributing to that thread instead of making a new one.

Can also have a pre review using key words, "GTX 760 or 7950". Then have 4 threads with the same related info pop up, but the time invested to probably make something like that wouldn't be worth the revamp.

it could be easier to leverage the search feature... oh wait, n/m
