hey so a while back I was planning on doing an Xeon Icelake build but disregard that due to buying the next generation of Xeons/Intel HEDT anyway, so been looking more into last generation instead and came across the Xeon 6148F but just can’t seem to find out what the F SKU in the Xeon Lineup means, as in Intel Core The F stands for no IGPU but afaik all Xeon Scalables dont have IGPU anyway, any clue if the F SKU would stop me from using it in a Retail LGA3647 board?
After Skylake, it represents integrated OmniPath fabric support.
STH had a good page on it : Intel Skylake Omni-Path Fabric Does Not Work on Every Server and Motherboard
