find a way to get the $10 extra for an FX 6300
The 6300 is a better CPU imo (for all round tasks)
Ok Thanks!
Guys he may be buying the CPU because of the IG if that being the case then get an a10 or somthing or wait for the next gen ones.
Buying Intel for the IGP, My sides left my body and transcended into a dimension of space time from the laughter exumed.
Well he may not be very knowledgeable about pcs and didn't have the money for a fx 6300 with a GFX card.
imGlow if you don't have the money to buy a CPU and GPU. Then buy right now AMD Trinity A10 5600k and a good cooler to replace the cooler that comes with the processor for better cooling and if you want to overlock it, AMD Trinity are APU's and so that means that in a CPU there is a GPU or to be correct an IGP and with fast RAM like 1866Mhz you can play Battlefield 3 at decent setting at 720p with good framerate or on 1080p with 30fps or better. You could wait for Richland and buy it, same motherboard and you can then rather buy an 2133mhz DDR3 RAM to use full potential.
" you can play Battlefield 3 at decent setting at 720p with good framerate or on 1080p with 30fps or better"
Nope.
Are you sure, go watch these videos of Battlefield 3, Planetside 2(intensive), Minecraft(CPU intensive/Java), Counter Strike: Global Offensive... It can even run Crysis 3 at 1080p :)

If you call a small map at 20-30fps playable....
LOL
Crysis 3: "I brought an APU so i can play superior PC games on the worst settings"
The other games are irrelevant, BF3 on a proper map will destroy the APU..
The amount of mouse lag in that C3 video is terrible...
CS:GO..... my tamberine can play that at 4K res.
PS2 is CPU heavy, and that video shows it running around 20-25fps (it simply is not smooth)
Minecraft..... the lulz.
I am not dissing or hating on APU's, but they are designed for those people who play a bit of plants vs zombies once a weekend....
It is not fast enough to be competitive in online shooters, unless you fancy playing unreal? and seeing if people exist still?
BF3 is not 2 maps (Metro and noshar canals) these are the 2 easiest maps in the entire game to render, and get over bloated FPS scores.
If the OP is wanting an internal GPU..... do not bother trying to play online in competitive matches.
I wont argue with a fanboy, as Logan said: Fanboys must Die! (we should make a game with that theme)
You really underestimate the power of AMD Trinity APU's (CPU+GPU), you can go Dual Graphics/Hybrid CrossfireX with supported graphics cards and you can play all games fine and wait for AMD RIchland that is out this month, on 19. You will see... :)
This is just a APU(CPU+GPU) while Intel's option is worse, AMD Trinity A10 5800k GPU is twice as fast as Intel HD Graphics 4000 and it will still beat the new Intel HD Graphics 4600 that it will be in Haswell CPU's and currently Haswell has some problems with USB 3.0 so I would reccomend to not buy the first series/batch so wait for a month or two. I am not a fanboy and I warned you about current issues, check tomshardware...

Fanboy?
Fanboy of what exactly?
Oh, i is a fanboy of truth!
Ahh well.
All video's have no FPS counter, and are on small maps as i stated before... 64 man on noshar canals.... LMFAO.
Here is some real benchmarking for you by me... not an APU, a 2500k at 4.5ghz paired with a radeon 7770...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hb-gkTEcWZk
And FX 6300 with that GPU would gain similar results... and when lowering settings, you will gain FPS, unlike that stupid APU.
Unless of course, an APU and a 6670 are now as fast as a dedicated 7770 and 2500k?
RECON do you even watch the videos? Some do have FPS,one of them is a goddam benchmark of MULTIPLE games.
Oh, yeah that was CS:GO.....
And one with a bunch of graphs done in excel..
okay i'm not going to argue with a fanboy anymore, yes the 7770 is better than an a-10 5800k,infact i have a 7770 too! It's great since i'm used to playing games at 15 fps and calling that ''playable'' so for people like me an a-10 5800k would be good.
WTF is with this fanboy shit?
Fanboy of what exactly?
I have gathered that you and this APU loving ape are the true fanboys.... neither of you know what the OP wants, and are spouting like he has given you word that he wants an on board GPU...
I give one thing for Logan, he is straight to the point, but he has made delusional idiots like you and the other guy above, who also now have a little more power because Logan put the 8350 in a good light, which is fine..
But you both are on your high horse calling me a fanboy for giving you my opinion.
If the OP wants integrated graphics, an APU is the way to go, but it sure as hell will not be any good for online multiplayer.
