This seems like the most appropriate place to put this but apologies if it isn't.
As the title says I'm wondering what to do with a PC. Specifically my old budget one, The specs are:
Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 (I think)
Asus P5G41T-M LX2
4gb ddr3 1333mhz ram
1tb hard drive
Nvidia 9500gt
Win7 64bit
Currently it's just sat in a corner waiting as a replacement for my parents when break their PC but I can't help thinking it could be put to better use.
well it could be upgraded to play modern games and use it as a lan pc or somthing other wise you could try and use it as a server or somthing maybe make it a steam box for your tv there are a lot of things you can do with it because its a decent computer still just for games needs a new gpu.
650 Ti or a 7790 would be a great improvement over that old 9500gt and you could make that PC into an old console games emulator farm.
