What would you choose between these 2?

I am getting me an aftermart cooler (about time) but am undecided on these 2:

1) Cooler Master Hyper212 Evo Turbo Edition (essentially 2 fans included as opposed to just 1)

2) Cooler Master Hyper412 Slim

The 212 has a slimmer heatsink with larger fans, where as the 412 has a thicker heatsink with slimmer fans.

What would be the best choice?

Thanks!

what CPU are you cooling and what speed are you hoping to obtain and what is your budget, the 212 can't make miracles for Ivy

I'm using Ivy Bridge, but it is not unlocked, it is the 3770, so I honestly won't ocerclock.

I just want to have an aftermarket cooler just for the sake of lowering load temps (I top out at 80 C) even if if I won't overclock...

Budget is roughly 40-50 bucks

the 212 EVO will do just fine, I would get the one with only one fan or no fans and get a set of cosair SP120s performance fans

Heatsink

Fans

but in reality all you really need is a $20 Xigmatek Gaia but the more you reduce you system temps the better eh

the Cosair fans are meant for rads and heatsink fins, they will make the heat sink you put them on reach their max potential, and they're fairly quiet (they look pretty bitchin as well)

Aite, cool, Ima go for the hyper 212 evo and have a push pull config on it. thanks, mate!
