Now that you have changed it... what would call it?

The spec is overkill I have to say, but I won't go for an AMD processor. For the money you got into that, go for an Intel i7 gen4 processor, like the 4770K. Trust me, it will make a big difference. A week ago I was at a PC showroom in my city and some guys got a speac almost as yours with the FX-8350. I was all excited to try it so I made some tests on it. I don't know why and how but it failed to play 4K videos on Youtube. My Intel i3 3rd gen plays 4K in no time, but that AMD won't. The only thing that came up in my mind was that the FX-8350 has an old arhitecture so it won't support 4K without an update. All in all, I suggest you get an Intel i7-4770K because is the latest generation and you won't have problems with it for a while (money well spent).

I dont know what you plan on using it for, but I am guessing gaming with possibly streaming? I would change a few things.

here is what I have:

I wouldn't raid the SSD because it is already fast enough, instead I put a larger SSD that you can install the OS and many games to. There are two HDD's which I wouldnt raid either. Instead, seperate the tasks. Use one for downloads and media, and the other for program installations. Put backup on both drives as a fail safe.

Also, I chose a GTX 780 over 2 7970's because I like the frame consistency of a single GPU. Plus you have the option of SLI should you want to triple 1440 monitors.

I chose the fractal design case because the case you chose has strange airflow with the fans blowing sideways through the case.... that doesnt work at all. The fractal design refine R4 has excellent air flow and I included a couple extra fans to maximize the airflow. Install the water cooler at the top.

I changed the PSU because your power was overkill and this one is of excellent quality.

Name: Super Ant! (because its black and panther is over-used)

What's the budget?

If you are just going to use it for gaming, I would suggest going for the LGA 1150 platform paired with an i5 4670K.
