I am tangled up in which build to go for I have a budget of up to about 2600 dollars (including the monitor, obviously less money spent is better). What sort of a build should i go with with this budget. I am looking at something like a 2560x1440p gaming/workstation and productivity build. At the moment i am looking at a 27 inch ips 144hz monitor (this one http://us.acer.com/a...el/UM.HB0AA.001 ) which is good for both gaming and colour accuracy. But what would recommend with a budget like this? any help would be greatly appreciated. I also considered a high end 1080p build which would cost about 600-1000 dollars less but I want a really good build For gaming and workstation use and I am looking a quad hd. anyway if you could help in any way that would be awesome!
Thank you!
If you want a build for workstation use as well, I need you to specify what exactly you will be doing (photo ending, video editing, etc.). You have a lot of options with that budget so no worries there. Also are you interested in overclocking? Do you need peripherals other than a monitor?
I will be using as a gaming build as well as possibly some video editing in the future. I will also be using as my normal everyday PC. As for peripherals I was thinking a mionix naos 7000 mouse ( http://mionix.net/mice/naos-7000/ ) and a logiech g710 plus. But if you have any other suggestions that would be great. as for overclocking I would see how it would perform and if i needed more performance yes i would overclock. Here is a pc part picker link on my sort of idea. I would want to but the 980ti asus strix edition if possible when it comes out. link: http://pcpartpicker.com/b/CKD8TW
I don't see anything really wrong with that build. You could save some money by getting some less expensive RAM. Clock speed of ram really has very little effect on fps performance anyway. I personally would got with a Samsung 850 evo so save so money and still get a great ssd. That wifi adapter seems a bit overkill in price but if you really want the best connection go for it. I understand the fans because it is a micro atx build but 2-3 should be enough. These are just some tips to save you some money. I've never seen that mouse before nor used the keyboard so I can't make an opinion. I personally have a deathadder chroma and love it. Its very minimalist in terms of buttons and aesthetics, plus I can change the color whenever I want. Definitely wait to pick up the strix 980ti over the reference gpu
OK thank you so much thats a great help!
