hey guys, just had a question. I have a 2TB Hard Drive, (Seagate) and everything is saved on the first 800GB.
I still have like 919Gb of Free space on the second part, (dont forget it is only one HardDrive) so what do I do with all that space? its been buggin me for some time, I mean, its just empty space, sitting there looking at me.
Any suggestions appreciated
PM....Can I move games to it and would they still work without being put through Program Files (x86) and all that?
Eeew no. Stay away from Dynamic Disks if you don't need them... it's horrible. If you meant merging the partitions NORMALLY that's a different thing of course.
You can use that space for backups. You should've been installing games to something else than your Windows drive to start with, Windows messes up way too easy for that. Personal documents and other data should never stay on a Windows partition for very long either, unless you have backups elsewhere.
You could play around with VM's and store them there.
You could do anything really... My hdd's are filled so hard that I just had to delete a ton of stuff to fix one hdd :( Wish I had 900gigs of free space for such occasions... Though that 900gig would never survive very long, I download too much for that and I'm a hoarder.
Hold on.. What was this about not having windows and other things on the same drive? I have a one TB hard drive in the post for my first build, I was planning to put everything on that. Is that a problem?
