What to do with an ancient intel MBP?

I have my an early laptop of mine, MacBook Pro 2,33 Ghz Intel Core2Duo with the ram maxed out (3GB addressable), and a SSD running at blazing fast SATA 1 speeds. It will run 64 bit OSes if you tinker with the bootloader of the iso for the initial install.

Anything I can think of to do with this thing, is just as easily done with a raspberry pi, or a vm. So does anyone have cool ideas for essentially 15+ year old E-waste?

Probably not the most amazing answer, but I use an old laptop from the same era for air-gapped gpg key renewal. Encrypt the boot drive and take out or disconnect the wireless card.

Home Automation. Run home assistant and get some Wi-Fi devices that can be flashed with Tasmota and or some Z-wave/ZigBee devices and go to town.
