asus rampage formula
asus P5Q-Deluxe
evga 750i FTW
and well yea anything around
some advice on these boards would help a lot.

the Rampage formula is the best one there, but what's your budget?
Have patience and perhaps an XFX X58 may be in your future.

well for me the budget would be around $400
however i live in australia so prices are different.
the maximus II formula will cost me around $380
rampage $350
evga ftw $320
i also have a q6600 sitting here and im split between a 4850 and either a 9800gtx+ or gtx260 so yeaa i guess it depends on the board. and i will buy a second of which ever card as well

I would go with the ASUS RAMPAGE FORMULA because it is X48 Chipset you will get X16, X16 with two ATI HD4850s in CROSSFIRE because with the MAXIMUS II FORMULA being P45 you will only get X8, X8 with CROSSFIRE or if you can get a 780i FTW if you would like to run SLI in the future.

Um the P45 will have 16x/8x, not 8x/8x, and the X48 chipset is older than P45 and it uses the ICH9R chipset so it's kinda up to you but i would go P45 and crossfire some 4850s (or get a 4850X2). Or SLI some 9800GTX+(or one 9800GX2)?

i think i might end up going with the maximus II, but i also might go with the 780i ftw seeing as its not that much more expensive. ill give you an update at the end of the week on what i chose.
i only need a motherboard and graphics card now and i can finally start to build my new comp.
