What to buy?

Here are two choices from things I could get.

1. New power supply (modular) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139040

2. New Keyboard http://www.bestbuy.com/site/g510s-gaming-keyboard/8785577.p?id=1218893505372&skuId=8785577&st=logitech%20g510s&cp=1&lp=1

Well which do you need more? Is your powersupply a good one? Does it need replacing? What keyboard are you using? Will you use all the Gkeys on that new keyboard?

I personally own the Logitech G510, the older model of the one you're looking at and it really is quite nice. I wish the backlighting was brighter though. Maybe they improved that on the G510s model. Oh btw, the wrist rest attachment is a joke, complete trash.

All of the internals are exactly the same on the G510s. The difference is only the new type of coating on it and thus the look is slightly different.

If your rig is running just fine I would go for a new keyboard 100%, OP. Also the CX750 is overpriced for what you get since there are a lot better power supplies for the same price (plus its out of stock on that online retailer). The keyboard on the other hand is probably In stock locally at a best buy ... or you can pick it up on Amazon or some other e-tailer for even cheaper. Logitech keyboards last MANY years. I have a friend who has been rocking a G510 for 6+ hardcore years of gaming and the thing still works flawless.

but.... mechanical keyboards. I like those too.

BUT THE PRICE!!! Plus they aren't available at my local bestbuy store.

the mechanical keyboards.....

The mechanical keyboards really do have a nice sound/feel but this keyboard has a very quick response time so there's little to no input lag while gaming which is really nice. Its All up to you OP, sounds kinda like you really didn't want either one and just made a post for the sake of making a post =P

The G510s isnt mechanical .. the G710 is. I have the G710 and it was worth it to buy for me. The only thing I didn't fully like was the lack of customizable profiles for individual key lighting like my friend's ducky keyboard. Other than that the thing is glorious.

There are some good rubber dome keyboards out there .. logitech makes good ones. They have a short key profile so the travel time is quite short and thus significantly quicker to activate than something like an old microsoft ergonomic multimedia keyboard with keys that rattle all over the place.

How about the corsair k70 I was looking into that?

K70's are great.

I have a k60 with reds right now and it's basically the version 1 to the k70, the k70 is superior in that it has backlighting, it's fully mech. (the k60 some of the function keys weren't), and it has a full palm rest instead of the fps-oriented wrist rest near WASD only that's found on the k60.

But the keys are great and I love the build quality of this thing, the brushed aluminum is beautiful. K70 if you can swing it is a great choice.
