So recently, my computer has been freezing when gaming for awhile. They are not bad freezes but just stops everything for about 10 to 15 seconds every now and then. I downloaded a software called "speedfan" and it read my gpu was at 60c (after playing bf4 for 2 hours) and cpu 55c. So, i then heard that speedfan was inaccurate so i downloaded "core temp" and it read along the lines of the same temps as speedfan. So last but not least, just to be sure cause i am paranoid like that, i downloaded AMDoverdrive and it showed my thermal margin to be 33c which means that i have 33c left of heat before i reach my "max temp" . So that part adds up because my max cpu temp i believe is 78c. Then what got me worried was that i used HWmonitor and it showed under my cpu "package" was at 97c! This shocked me but then thought to myself that if it got that hot my pc would shut down but then again, maybe it is right, hence why my computer freezes every now and then?? Sorry i know my intelligence about this is poor so thats why im asking the experts! Any help will be great :)

I myself use gpu z and afterburner for monitoring on my gpu for ages and realtemp on my cpu
Or maybe HWiNFO32/64 for a comprehensive list of sensors. I do use Afterburner most of the time though for CPU & GPU temps.
Do you see any messages pop up about the GPU driver restarting? Just in case it simply needs re-installing or updating.

what games do this? doesn't sound like you actually have any heat issues honestly.
