Hello, I'm looking to buy an SSD for my PC and was wondering if you all could give me a recommendation on what SSD I should be looking into.
I love my Samsung 840 Pro - but Crucial M4's are great
OCZ can be hit and miss
Samsung 840 NON Pro are fairly crappy
just my personal experiences
I was looking into the 840 and Crucial M4 and both seemed great when it comes to read and write speeds. It's good to know I was looking in the right direction.
Thank you for your input. :)
If you have the cash... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820785002
Just saw that today...I had to hold my wallet back as it tried to order it. I'd love to have it, but I have to save some sort of money for other things... :/
The Samsung 840 Evo is fairly solid for the money. I'd also recommend looking into the Adata XPG SX900.
I have both a Samsung 840 256GB PRO and standard both are amazing at the price. Both read very quick and the pro is better for writing but if you are mainly gaming get the none pro if you want to save some money. Also with the Samsung's be careful with the storage size as does seem to change performance.
Samsung 840 Pro/EVO or Crucial M500.
