ive heard great things about the samsung 840 evo. Also heard great things about the mx100. What brand do you trust more? That's what it will come down to really.
I just had a samsung evo in my hands a minute ago. Super light, but sturdy, as far as physical quality is concerned.
Really its a win either way, I'd go with the one that is least expensive.
Well, I've never used any product from crucial, so I think I will probably buy the EVO 840. I've also heard a lot of praises regarding the software that comes with the Samsung SSD, so it's another plus for the Samsung one.
MX 100 is best price/performance ratio.
If you want more performance, go for the Samsung 850 series.
I have both an 840 drive and my Raid0 MX100s. I like the MX100s for their value, and over 800MB/s reads in Raid.
