Basically, my system has been suffering from random freezes and complete unresponsiveness. I know for a fact, that the issue is not in the motherboard, the processor or the hard disk. I am currently looking at RAM but I have no reliable way of triggering the freeze. I would like to confirm that this is actually a RAM issue before buying a new one.
So I am asking, what is the best software that thoroughly checks every single component? Or maybe specifically RAM functionality? I have tried memtest86 and that worked perfectly.... How would I test for incompatibility between RAM and motherboard?
