What should I build for a BEAST rig?

Here are my specs for what I plan to build. (http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3KIXV)

If there are any changes i should make please respond. I want a gaming pc that can play 1440p perfectly, max games out and still get a constant 60+fps. Also its a budget of $1990 canadian. Thanks :D

What will you be using this for? Pretty beast build. But, you need to up the PSU. 750w, at least. At if you are editing ANYTHING, get 16GB of RAM.

This is what I put together. i5 and the R9 290 will go a really great job of powering a 1440p panel. I included a panel in the build.

Alternately:

You might stretch to this. For just over your budget, you could get a 780ti with an 8320.

I had to reduce the storage, but you can add more HDDs later.

The i5 is equal to the i7 in gaming, and a perfectly capable productivity CPU. The 8320 is a very capable CPU, too. No need to get an i7 if you're only gaming.

Unless you plan to run dual graphics in your system you will actually be fine with a 550W minimum.

Meh should just get this instead. You can at least use it to upgrade to broadwell at some point in the future without having to fork out this amount of cash again. Did I mention it is platinum certified? http://www.amazon.com/Rosewill-Platinum-Certified-Supply-FORTRESS-750/dp/B008G9MX48/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1400532933&sr=1-1&keywords=Rosewill+750W+80+PLUS+Platinum+Certified+Power+Supply+FORTRESS-750

something like that but i'd buy on amazon. it's much cheaper. good luck. :D

Alright this is my updated rig so far. (http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/3Nbcq) Also can i get 60+fps 1440p high to ultra settings on Watch Dogs???

You really need to bump up the GPU. The 770 is a good starting point, but it is no guarantee of 60 FPS. You have the option of an R9 290, and I was able to fit a 780ti in one configuration.

Editing suites are GPU accelerated. It will pay dividends to get a powerful GPU before you consider most processor or RAM upgrades.

Probably not with that build.

Something like this:

yes, you're not going to be getting 60fps constant at highest settings with a 770
