What RX480 to buy? dutch edition

dutch edition because the price's are quite different.

So i've gathered some RX480's that i might buy,
Now i-am not sure which i should be buying.
I want 8GB, overclocking potential and i want it to be quiet (which is not a great combo, i know) .

Here they are: https://tweakers.net/pricewatch/compare/564831;570319;567945;573899/

Notice no, Strix O8G because it's 320,- and not the MSI gaming non X because for some reason it's more expensive.....

my budget is actually no more than 300,- but if it's worth it i can push 310,-
(at first my budget was 270 but i do want 8GB)

(edit/ i know the silicon lottery and all but i would like to surpass the 1400MHzmark)

complete list of 8GB 480's available in the netherlands with prices here,

The XFX GTR has a really solid power delivery system (maybe even the best on an 480), and is pretty dang quiet too. Miners are buying it en-masse because of the easily serviceable fans though, but that shouldn't be a local issue for you, given your country's electricity prices.

The Nitro series also have easily serviceable fans right?
and yes that's right atleast not many miners here.
But doesn't the Strix also have a nice power delivery system?

the Strix is OK, but not as good as the GTR, and by easily serviceable, I mean straight up zero-tool hot-swappable. There are also rumors floating about that XFX preferentially binned their allotment of chips and put the cream of the crop in that model, they tend to OC better and draw less power than other custom boards.

Interesting however i don't expect to ever replace my fans (and i don't mind RMA if it is needed)
But the GTR is better than the strix?
also more quiet? i see more nitro's clocking past 1400 than i see GTR's but the nitro is quit loud it seems

XFX is better than Asus for AMD cards.
Asus had heat issues with the R9 200 and 300 series.

The quietest is the universally hated devil by power color.
Currently you are splitting hairs. The difference between the strip and the gtr at the end of the day are negligible. Get the gtr. Asus have more than enough money already.

The GTR is very, very cool and quiet. If you want a very in depth look at the XFX GTR's power delivery, check out this video by BuildZoid:

I took the liberty of skipping the intro fluff for you in the link.

I wonder however why no-one is saying i should get the ASUS is it that bad?
I really don't care if they have enough money or not i want a good GPU for my own money,
And being quiet is a must for me,

(edit, so now it's get the XFX GTR or the STRIX) right? @tkoham is rooting for the XFX, @psycho_666 is in between and my thoughts would say the STRIX would be better but that could just be marketing

There's nothing wrong with the Strix, It just isn't worth the money, with things like the GTR and nitro on the market, especially in your locale. 320 EU is ridiculous for ANY 480.

but the strix is 307,- and the GTR 294,-
both around 300,- so is the price difference +-10,- worth it? one way or the other

(the strix O8G (overclocked version) is 320,- the 8G is 307,-)

See, that's the reason I told you get the gtr... Asus and corsair are brands, that are very heavy marketing wise. Not to mention they sponsor like half the reviewers literally with money.
There is nothing wrong with the Asus strix. It's good card. The Sapphire is both noisier and warmer than it. The powercolor have some power delivery things, that people seems to deem worthy and ignore the existence of. The gigabyte is complete crap. Asus and the xfx are the best this generation. I personally would go for the xfx if for no other reason, than to help the smaller brand. Also to show Asus that I don't like rgb in everything.

I'm sure neither will disappoint, but why spend more for a product with no advantages over a cheaper, (possibly marginally better) alternative? Note that I've worked with both cards, but I don't have either in my daily driver. both are good, but one will save you 13EU over the Strix and perform the same or better.

well thank you all, i guess i'll flip a coin between the GTR and the STRIX.
Any additional feedback is welcome just for arguments sake.

Asus RX480 Strix OC is pretty much the best RX480 out there.
Based on cooler and pcb design.
It has the most powerfull vrm on it.

Another good compatitor would be the XFX RX480 GTR, and the His RX480 Roaring X2.
Which are both basicly the same cards.
They share the same PCB.

WTF the GTR only has 1 HDMI.....
Well that makes it easy, STRIX it is,
However not the "OC" (O8G) version. should that matter?

I´m not fully sure if those are the same cards.
Then i mean if they have the same pcb.
I suppose they do, but till now i have only looked at the OC pcb version.

hmmm
I would "assume" they have the same PCB,
O8G
8G

some clarity at the neighbors

could probaly even get the 8G version and load the O8G version bios onto it to turn it into a O8G version hahaha.

on that note, any pricedrops going to happen soon? with vega and all that.
