Of course. The list should be Open Source, published on github. But still, you wouldn't be able to trust it 100%.

I also use Privacy Badger for the simple reason, that I am not per se against ads, in fact I know a lot of content creators are depending on ad revenues, I'm just fed up with the horrible tracking ad networks, that sometimes are even used to infect OS's and make my CPU fan spin up like a turbine..
Static ads, contextual-non-tracking-ads: sure, be my guest. All others can bugger off.
