Howdy, so now i need a new motherboard, my price range is $100-130 it has to work with my Amd phenom 2 black edition x4 955 the only one i have found that looks alright is this one its an Asus M5A97 R2.0, help would be amazing
I'd wait till June I think some new boards are headed our way if not I'd rock saber asus sabertooth 990fx r2.0 with pcie 3.0

Super cheap, I plan on buying this for my phenom ii 830. Maybe you could use the rest for a decent graphics card. I'd buy this for now and later on when I'm ready to upgrade my cpu I'd get a better board. Then you can see what will be relased later on this year or next.
the Asus M5A97 R2.0 4+2 power phase is a great board for that cpu, if you want to OC the phenom, 125W cpu, then better pick up the Asus M5A97 EVO R2.0 with 6+2 power phase or the Asus M5A99FX pro R2.0 also with 6+2 power phase. or if its fitting in youre budget the asus 990fx sabbertooth 8+2 power phase.
