What motherboard do you recommend?

Hi guys,

I am buying parts for my first PC build (noob, I know ;D) and was wondering what motherboard and GPU you best recommend. I will be gaming, but not too heavily. The CPU I will be using is the i5 3750k. My budget is about $250   (£150) on both the motherboard and GPU combined.
