Hi this is for either Logan or Wendell, I'm trying to rid of my Comcast rental modem, and was wondering what your preferences were with money out of the picture. I'm trying to get the best possible internet experience with the crappiest provider.

The trouble is that it is not supported... so I had to ignore the phone functionality... Also, follow this copy paste advice: *** TELL THEM YOU HAVE AN SB6120 ***
If you tell comcast the real model number, they refuse to touch it but SB6120 is basically the same modem and is still on their supported modem list. When they ask for the MAC Address, give them the "HFC Mac Address" on the back of your SBV (there are two mac addresses listed back there). This works for internet ONLY with comcast so the VOIP ability is a waste (thus, this message goes out to people who already have the device and/or only plan to use it for internet).
That worked for me and this unit never needs to be reset.
