What linux distro are you guys using?

this is for anyone who wants to answer!

I was just wondering what Linux distro you guys prefer, maybe I can get a idea on what to use next!

I personally use Manjaro XFCE and Ubuntu 14.04 (Its actually pretty good to spite what some might say)

I usually use debian have also used slackware

Gentoo with XFCE4 DE, SLiM display manager and awesome WM. Planning on having no DE in the future and using compton as a compositor.

I would use Manjaro but dual booting proved to be much more trouble than it was worth. Until every game that I play works on Linux without emulation, I am not using Linux.

I have gone completely with Linux, and my entire household (even my parents) has gone with Linux.  I use Ubuntu 14.04 as my daily driver, but I distro hop on a spare machine that I have. I will have to admit that I really love having the ability to modify and change just about everything, and breaking things and fixing them has become a hobby in itself.

I am using the Manjaro minimal install on my laptop. I would use Arch but I couldn't get the wifi drivers working for the installation. Manjaro comes with the proprietary drivers I need.

Lubuntu on the Laptop, Arch on the server (probably not the best choice, but I had experience with it, and I could make the install super lightweight while still doing everything I need on 2005 era tech).  Everything else is running Windows.

manjaro... gonna change it to ubumtu 12,04 becase more compatability software and gaming since i missed playing games on my pc

I mostly use Gentoo, Archlinux, Debian(sid), Fedora/RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu.

Arch Linux.

Windows needs to die :)

I bounce between Crunchbang and Slackware for the desktops, Debian and Slackware for the servers. I really like Porteus [shameless plug inserted here!] on a USB for a OS that I can take anywhere. If you are into really getting in deep, go for Linux From Scratch, you will learn more about linux then you thought possible.

Cheers!

I do all my work on Ubuntu 14.04, often I'll fiddle with Arch on the weekends for giggles.

Manjaro. Aside from the volume output by my laptop speakers everything about it works well without any messing with shit.

im sadly still using windows as my daily driver, but im playing around with arch a lot on a little eee pc netbook.

its funny to compare it to windows running on the same netbook, wich is around 10x slower. (running arch with stock xfce at the moment)
