What kind of monitor do you use?

Hey guys Karn again, I was just wondering what kind of monitor everyone here uses, I personally use just a 23" Asus monitor that I got on sale, its kinda beaten up now but it does the job. i'm looking for a new one now but I was only planning on just using a 32" TV instead but is this too big for gaming?

I am using a 24" BenQ monitor, it works great for me haven't had any problems with it really. I am not sure about the 32" TV you plan on using depending on what resolutions and refresh rates it has it might work and might not, and it also depend on what games you plan on playing.

I was using 2 AOC 23" LED monitors, because I got them at a stupid deal. However, their imports are lacking, and they were oddly dark for LED. My photography was taking a serious hit. Looked fine on them, but you looked at my photos on anything else, and it was very under-exposed. A buddy just offered me an HP Pavilion 27xi. Fantastic monitor, but now I want a second one.

Samsung 226bw S panel and the one in my Acer Laptop.

I got a pixel perfect 27" qnix 1440p monitor from korea for under $400. A lot of 32" TVs only support 720p, so I'd watch out for that. Plus, I was able to OC my qnix to 96Hz; A 60Hz signal is what you'd be restricted to with a TV that's connected via HDMI. 27" is big enough for gaming. I'll probably buy one or two more if I feel it's too small.

Do you recommend the AOC monitors? I saw them at micro center it was like under 140$ for 23".

Nothing too fancy here: a 27" Hanns-G LED monitor and a repurposed 27" Samsung TV on my main PC, a 21" ASUS on my old PC, and whatever is on the Mac.

Don't use TV as a monitor. Pixel density sucks on TVs so you'll have to move away from the screen not to see how ugly the image is and this negates any benefits from larger screen size.

I have two 1080p 23" monitors, one in landscape and one in portrait

Im waiting till i my new monitor arrives, ive got a 22" ips on the way. But im currently using a 19" 4:3 crt. :( cant wait for the new one though!!!

Asus VG248QE  I personally wouldn't go any larger then maybe 27ish monitor. But to be honest I would just get something 24" with good picture quality and 1080p for now. The higher refresh is nice but I wouldn't say its worth it.

LG FLATRON E2250V.  I picked it up from my friend for $40 bucks.

HP 2009m its not the best by any means but it gets the job done

20" Apple Cinema Display

i have a acer 22 inch 1680 x1050 and a dell 32 1080p  my 32 inch is my gaming screen and my 22inch is my video/website screen while i am gaming.

24" 1080p Asus monitor.

Asus MS228 21.5 Inch 1080 Monitor. Very nice to. But discontinued

I'm still rockin an 18.5 inch 1366x768 monitor Acer G195HQL

U2412M (1920x1200) + 4:3 secondary.

As was mentioned before pixel density on TVs suck, if you really want a big screen I recomend a 4K Seiki for about 600USD, but beware they can only handle 30FPS, they might release a new monitor sometime soon after HDMI2.0 comes out providing 4k at 60fps. Or you could go down the route of refresh rate, and possibly lightboost if you use nvidia.

I heard alot of good things about BenQ, are they a good brand?
